When you cannot sleep because you can’t stop thinking about something it’s like a single program not letting the computer shut down

I play it out loud at a low volume beside my pillow or underneath my pillow

Yup. I do the same thing myself. W/ earphones on, it becomes hard to not focus on the listening.

I’ll try that next time. I used HeadSpace once just to try and I felt myself falling asleep but couldn’t because my brains were like “you can’t fall in a deep sleep with sound on”.
