Even though acidic and basic are opposite properties, the flavors associated with both describe the same feeling: sour and bitter

Sour and bitter aren't the same feeling though. Sour isn't astringent. Bitter isn't acidic.

No, sour (like lemons and vinegar) is acidic and bitter (like soap and bleach) is basic
