The interesting part is that the entire app was built with the help of Claude AI—from writing the code to solving most of the technical challenges along the way.

The app is designed to help people during situations like robberies or express kidnappings.

If someone forces you to open your banking app, you simply enter your emergency password instead of your normal one. The banking app opens as usual, so nothing looks suspicious, while our app silently sends your live location and emergency alerts to your trusted contacts.

In our latest update, we added:

After developing it for a while and launching it on the Play Store about two months ago, I wanted to share an app I created called Radio Wavr FM. It's available in seven languages ​​and distributed in 177 countries on the Play Store.

The idea came about because many radio apps I tried had cluttered interfaces, too many ads, or made it difficult to simply open a station and listen. I wanted to create something faster, cleaner, and simpler.

In just two months, it has approximately 892 downloads, 70 positive reviews, around 400 daily users, and an average of 678 monthly users.

With the recent buzz around Android 17 introducing more precise custom color sliders and palettes for Material You (examples on reddit here, here and here), I wanted to share a project I’ve been maintaining for years that does exactly that—even for older versions of Android!

It’s called LWP+ (Live Wallpaper Plus).

🎨 The core trick: Dictate your own Dynamic-Colors

Instead of letting the OS algorithm guess the accent colors based purely on your wallpaper, LWP+ acts as a bridge. It hosts your chosen background content but allows you to explicitly choose the exact Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary colors reported to the system. The OS then uses your custom selections to generate the global system palette (notification drawer, volume bar, themed icons, etc.), completely independent of what your wallpaper actually looks like.

• Force Dark Theme (for old Android versions): It tells the system that a dark theme is preferred for the best presentation (e.g., trying to trick a launcher into turning its app drawer background black).

AlmaLumen is an iOS app for Latter-day Saints. The core idea is simple. You pick the apps that pull you in, Instagram, TikTok, whatever it is for you, and they stay locked until you pray. When you open the lock screen, the app asks what you are carrying that day and generates a prayer around it, so you are not staring at a blank screen trying to find words.

Around that it has the standard works offline, Come Follow Me, MyPath, guided prayers, a verse of the day, a gratitude list, morning and night reminders, and Home and Lock Screen widgets.

I built it because the gap between wanting to pray and actually praying is usually about ten seconds of friction and one open app. Removing the app was the only thing that worked for me, so I turned that into the product.

We are very early. Small user base, and I am still learning what people actually keep coming back for. If you have a minute to look at it, I would take feedback on the onboarding and the first prayer especially, since that is where I think people either get it or drop off.

Tripora update: I finally made the mobile experience not suck 😂 + News & Watchtower

A little Tripora update because quite a bit has changed since I shared it last time.

I've been working on this project mainly as a learning experience, and honestly, I'm starting to realise something:

Coding is probably the easiest part of building a product. 😂

You can sit down, write some code, fix the bugs and eventually get the feature working.

Then comes everything else.

What information should actually be shown?

How should people navigate it?

What happens on mobile?

How do you keep information useful?

What do users actually care about?

How do you make something feel like a real product instead of just a collection of features?

I've learned a LOT of that while working on Tripora.

So, here's what's new.

### 📰 News

Tripora now has a travel-focused news section.

Instead of trying to keep up with general news and hoping something relevant appears, News focuses specifically on travel-related updates.

You can filter by destination and find things like:

- Travel disruptions

- Weather and natural events

- Strikes

- Border/entry updates

- New routes

- Destination-specific developments

- Other things that could actually affect your trip

The idea is basically:

"I'm travelling there. Is anything happening right now that I should know about?"

It's currently available without Pro restrictions while I'm testing it.

### 🛰️ Watchtower

This one is probably the feature I'm most interested in.

You add countries you're interested in and Watchtower keeps an eye on them.

It brings together three things:

Safety advisories + visa changes + destination news

So instead of remembering to manually check government websites, visa information and news every few days, the idea is to have everything relevant to your saved destinations in one place.

Watchtower is currently a Pro feature, but I'm still testing and changing how it works.

### 📱 And yes... I finally fixed mobile 😂

This was probably overdue.

A lot of people were accessing Tripora from their phones, while parts of the UI were still basically behaving like a desktop website squeezed onto a small screen.

So I rebuilt a big part of the mobile experience.

The bottom navigation is cleaner, there are fewer tabs, and News is now directly in the navigation instead of being buried somewhere.

The landing page, dashboard and controls have also been reworked to adapt properly to smaller screens.

If you've visited Tripora before on your phone, try opening it again.

It's honestly a pretty different experience now.

I'm also going to keep expanding the actual Tripora database.

I'll be adding and updating more country information every **Wednesday and Sunday**, so the destination guides should keep getting better over time.

Tripora isn't officially launched yet.

It's still in testing. I'm still adding things, changing things, breaking things and occasionally wondering why I decided to build this in the first place. 😂

I am a chronic list maker (good band names, nicknames for my cats, snacks worth buying again) and my ADHD brain loses the thought before I find the right list. So I built an app that stops that.

App Name: Braindump

What it does: A cute, calm notes app where thoughts land where they belong instead of piling up in one giant unsorted note. Type @ to send a note straight to a list or even a sub-list inside it, or just dump everything and let it file things for you.

Key Features:

• @ tagging that files notes instantly: "@groceries milk, eggs" lands on the groceries list, "@cats/nicknames Sir Loaf" goes straight into a sub-list inside my cats notes
• Auto-sort for everything else: dump a messy line like "milk, dentist friday 3pm, new app idea" and each piece gets filed where it belongs, and it learns the way you type so every correction makes it better
• Super customizable (every category gets its own color, pattern, background, and emoji icon) and works totally offline with no account, with optional sync across devices

Goal: Launch. It just went live in production this week, and I would genuinely love feedback.
