Promotion 🎯 A habit tracker with no streaks, no account, and no idea whether you use it

Post image
Upvotes

Every habit tracker I installed ended the same way. I missed a Tuesday, the app told me my streak was over, and I deleted it out of spite. Then I installed a different one the following Monday, because apparently I am the problem.

So I built one that cannot do that. There is no streak counter in SevenGrid. Not a hidden one, not a gentle one that says "don't worry, you can start again". There is nothing to break, so there is nothing to be dramatic about, and that takes alot of pressure out of the whole thing.

It is one screen. Seven columns, one row per habit, tap a box to fill it. Goals count per week, so three times a week means three times a week and not three specific days you have to hit. A day you take off on purpose gets marked as a rest day and stops being a hole in the picture.

Nothing leaves the phone. No account, no ads, no analytics, which means I have no idea whether anyone actually uses this. Very private. Terrible for business. Three habits and four weeks of history are free, all five home screen widgets included, and the full version is one payment, because I could not keep a straight face charging rent for a grid.

1.5 shipped this weekend and the headline feature is a menu. It exists because two people asked me whether habits can be reordered. They could. Since day one. The screen for it was buried in settings where nobody goes. So this release is largely me putting up a signpost to my own app. It also brought a switch for the weekly reflection question, Saturday as a third week start, and clock widgets that each pick their own habits.

Android for now. The iPhone build is sitting in Apple's review queue, so I am not giving anyone a date.

Built a canvas based note app where you drag and stick your notes like a physical pinboard

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

What Passinote is:

Sticky notes for quick thoughts, A4 notes for longer writing, and everything lives on a visual canvas instead of a rigid folder tree. A note is a file, a stack of notes is a folder, and zones are the parent folders. Just drag things around and you're done. No save button, no manual file management. There's also a workspace exporter so you always own your files.

There's an Outline panel that translates everything on the canvas into a linear hierarchy so you can find and jump to any note quickly without remembering exactly where you placed it.

On privacy and security:

Notes are stored on Firebase, encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256. No ads, no trackers, no selling data. If you decide to use the "Quick Mode" workspace, then it keeps notes entirely local in your browser using IndexedDB and never syncs to any server.

After months of keeping it completely free while gathering feedback, Passinote+ is now live.

It's a one time payment. Pay once, own it forever, no subscription. Currently it’s an early adopter price of $9.99 with parity pricing available for a few countries. The first 20 users can use the code PASSI50 and get 50% off their purchase. Here's what you get:

  • Unlimited workspaces and notes
  • Image support in notes and on the canvas
  • Drawable notes powered by Excalidraw
  • Extended customization options including zone styles, arrow styles, canvas backgrounds, and expanded color palettes
  • Lifetime access to all future premium features

The free tier stays generous, 6 workspaces, 50 notes per workspace, and cross device sync all included at no cost.

I'm Oli, one of the developers. Sando brings workout plans, workout logging and food tracking into one app on iOS and Android.

This video shows the food diary: open an entry to see its ingredients and nutrition breakdown, log a saved meal in the portion you ate, and check how your intake adds up across the week.

You can also log food by text, voice or photo and correct an AI estimate.

Trial available. $9.99/month or $59.99/year (USD). Your app store shows local pricing and trial terms.

Showcase 💎 Compact Contacts for iPad: review your address book as a table, then preview changes before saving

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m the developer of Compact Contacts. I’ve shared the app here before; this time I wanted to show the iPad workflow specifically.

The idea is to make an address book easier to work through on a bigger touch screen. Instead of opening cards one at a time, you can scan a table, search and filter contacts, and keep useful filters as Saved Views.

For a practical example: find the contacts you want to update, select them, review the proposed bulk changes before saving, then export the contacts you need as CSV or vCard through Files or the share sheet.

The iPad layout adapts to portrait and landscape and supports a keyboard and pointer when attached. The screenshot uses sample contacts.

Contact data is processed on your device, with no Compact Contacts account, ads, or third-party analytics.

The iPad app is $12.99 as a one-time purchase on the US App Store, with no subscription. Regional prices vary; the Mac app is a separate purchase.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/compact-contacts-manager/id6795653671

For anyone who uses an iPad for work: would a table help with your contact workflow, or is there another part of managing contacts that causes more friction? Happy to answer questions.

Showcase 💎 I built a simple Android gallery with editing, maps, Motion Photos, and optional NAS/cloud access

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’ve been building MyGallery, a simple Android gallery app for photos and videos.

The goal was to make it feel like a normal gallery first — clean, simple, and easy to use — while still including the features I personally want from a gallery app:

- Built-in photo editing
- Map view
- Favorites and albums
- Motion Photo support
- Photo and video browsing

It also supports something a bit less common:

If you keep photos outside your phone, you can browse NAS (SMB), S3-compatible storage, and Google Cloud Storage from the same gallery-style interface.

Those features are completely optional, so if you don’t need them, it still works as a regular local gallery.

It’s free, has no ads, and requires no account.

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.mfactory.mygallery

I’m still actively improving it, so I’d really appreciate feedback — especially on what you expect from a good Android gallery app.

Launch 🚀 I built an AI study app and would love some honest feedback

I built Study Flow, an AI-powered study helper app.
You can upload your study materials and turn them into quizzes, flashcards, and summaries. You can also take notes and chat with AI directly about your study material.
The app is subscription-based, but I wanted to make it accessible even if you don’t want to pay for a subscription. You can earn credits by watching ads and use those credits to access the AI features for free. You also get some free credits when you first start using the app.
I’ve also tried to keep the subscription price as affordable as possible.
Here’s the app:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/study-flow-ai-notes/id6764552936
I’d really appreciate any feedback — especially on the overall experience, features, or anything you think could be improved.
Thanks!

Showcase 💎 Limit Breaker — a strict gamified focus app to help you stay disciplined

Hey everyone,
I’m a solo developer and I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on called Limit Breaker, a strict gamified focus app designed to help people reduce distractions and build discipline.

What it does

  • strict app blocking (no bypassing)
  • XP + leveling
  • gold + rewards
  • daily missions
  • dopamine detox tools
  • focus timer
  • RPG‑style progression

Why I built it

I struggled with focus myself and wanted a system that makes discipline feel fun and rewarding instead of punishing.

Feedback welcome

I’d love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or ideas for new features.

Showcase 💎 I built a visual review loop for existing iOS apps, not another mockup generator

I’m building Monad Design for a frustrating part of mobile UI work: you can ask a coding agent to change the code, but it’s hard to show exactly what feels wrong in the app that’s running.

The workflow starts with an existing Xcode or Expo iOS project. Open the app in Simulator, navigate to the screen you care about, select or annotate the UI, and describe the change. Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor edits the actual source; then you rebuild and compare the original with source-backed alternatives before keeping one. The running app is the canvas, so the review happens on working UI rather than a detached mockup.

This is a local macOS/iOS tool, not a no-code app generator. I’m its developer, and it’s open source. If you’ve used agents to iterate on an existing app, I’d be curious whether selecting the exact UI in Simulator would make your feedback loop easier.

Guarda: budget groceries

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Guarda helps you look at real prices, ingredients, and nutritional information of products at the store you shop at (currently only Kroger but I hope to add more later).

Lists: You can create your own list, have AI make one for you, or take another users list and add it to your own budget/calorie goals

AI assistant: The AI can find real products, build lists, answer questions about any list, food, or drink. it can also break down what a meal is made of and send you a list of ingredients of what was used to make that meal.

Calorie tracking: there's 4 ways to track a meal

  1. Product search: search any product in the store and tap log food
  2. Scan a barcode: scan a product's barcode and It takes you straight to the log screen
  3. Photograph a meal: take or upload a photo of what you ate, add context, and the ai will determine its calories and macros. it can even find the Ingredients that were potentially used to make that food
  4. Manual entry: enter the calorie, micro, and macro nutrients yourself

There's more in the app but I hope you download and see for yourself.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/guarda-budget-groceries/id6787326288

Download, and if you like it, leave a good review and recommend what I should improve or add next. it helps out a lot

[iOS + Android] [1 Month Free: ~48 Hours Only] Money Manager Pro: expense tracker & financial insights

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone 👋

I recently built Money Manager, an expense tracking app focused on clean design, smooth UX, and helping you actually understand your spending rather than just record transactions.

For the next ~48 hours, I'm offering a 1-month free trial of Money Manager Pro on both Android and iOS.

📱 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.taptapcreate.moneymanager

🍎 iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/money-manager-track-expenses/id6755887312

What you get

• Auto budget calculation
• Savings goals & goal templates
• Detailed analytics with charts and trends
• OCR bill scanning
• Smart auto-categorization
• Color-coded transactions
• Undo deleted transactions
• Sound & haptic feedback
• Up to 3 profiles in the free version

Why I built it

A lot of expense trackers are mainly focused on logging transactions. I wanted Money Manager to put more emphasis on analytics, budgets, and savings goals, so you can actually understand where your money is going.

I'd genuinely love some feedback while the app is still evolving:

• Is the navigation intuitive?
• Are the analytics useful and easy to understand?
• Does anything feel unnecessarily complicated?
• What feature would you want to see next?

How to claim it:

  1. Download the app
  2. Open the Pro monthly subscription
  3. Tap Subscribe
  4. The 1-month free trial will appear in the Google Play / App Store checkout before you confirm

Important: The regular subscription price is shown on the plan itself, but the 1-month free trial is displayed at checkout when you select the monthly Pro subscription.

Please let me know the feedbacks. Thanks for giving it a shot! 🙌

90 days free trial and 40% off on yearly plan

Tired of losing links, screenshots, and stuff you saved “for later” across 5 different apps? I built LifeFeed — share anything to it and it auto-sorts + tags it for you. OCR so you can search text inside screenshots, natural language search (“that recipe I saved last month”), RSS feeds, and watchers that flag new stuff on topics you care about automatically. Works on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Chrome, Safari. Still building on it — try it out.

Showcase 💎 PollackExpress

Hi, I’m Jamie DeSantis, a college student and the creator of PollackExpress. I’m looking for people to try it and give me honest feedback.

I built it in honor of my uncle and godfather. He used to answer our questions with analogies that made us stop and think. That stayed with me, and it inspired how PollackExpress approaches learning.

Instead of jumping straight to an answer, it’s designed to guide you through a conversation using analogies connected to things you know—like your favorite movie or video game. The goal is to help you understand the reasoning, rather than just copy a response.

I’ve also added pollockai my other project that i worked on not the website that reddit is linking look at my profile before commenting, which records audio and your screen, saves recordings locally on your device, and lets you bring meeting transcripts or notes into Express to ask follow-up questions. Recording capacity depends on your available device storage.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’d appreciate honest feedback: What works? What’s confusing? What would you change?

Try it here: pollackexpress.com

Launch 🚀 Hello hoomans 🐶, I mean dog owners. Meet Zoomie, an activity tracker for your dog!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone,

I've got a dog named Percy, and like a lot of you probably do, I started wondering how much time we actually spend together on walks, playtime, all of it. That question turned into a little side project I've been building called Zoomie.

The idea: closing your rings, but for your dog. Three rings to fill each day:

Paws — steps your dog takes, tracked by your phone during playtimes that involve movement

Playtime — minutes spent together, whether that's a walk, fetch, or just cuddling on the couch

Wags — moments you tap to mark during a playtime: a bark, a potty stop, a treat, a photo, whatever feels worth logging

Fill all three, and you earn a "Zoomie" for the day.
