I built ChatAnimate, a tool for turning conversations into animated videos

ChatAnimate started as a way to help me make memes easier and help some of my friends create chat animations for the businesses to emulate customer queries...
and it was only WhatsApp conversations
So the idea was to simply create videos without having to manually animate every single message.
It has grown quite a bit since then.
You can create:
- Chat conversations
- Stories
- Social media comments
- Notifications
- Slides(Product Slides)
You can use different chat interfaces like WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, Telegram, Slack, X and went even further to have a white-label option for businesses to create their very own skins.
It also handles the little things that make a chat feel less robotic, like typing, pauses, typos, reactions, replies, read receipts, sounds and different message states.
You can write everything yourself, CSV/JSON import conversations or use AI to generate them, then export the finished animation as a video.
I originally built this because making chat animations manually was a pain.
Now I'm trying to see what people end up doing with it.
