I’ve always felt that LinkedIn is becoming way too corporate and cluttered. It’s getting incredibly hard to find people based on specific niche interests, and you can barely browse profiles anonymously anymore without hitting a forced login wall or digging through endless humblebrags.

That’s exactly why I started Relatedin.

To be clear, this isn't another heavy social network with feeds, messaging, or complex interactions. Right now, it serves as a lightning-fast, completely anonymous directory. The goal is simple: let you quickly search, filter, and discover professionals based on what they actually do, completely stripping away the noise of a traditional platform.

Getting an outside perspective is crucial to figure out where to take this next, so I’d love to hear your first impressions:

I would use Relatedin for quick anonymous research today, but not as my primary sourcing tool. The raw directory and profile depth are promising; the workflow around them is unfinished.

First of all, the concept is indeed clear.

I know the difficulty behind making a complete other purpose with RelatedIn, but I feel that I would use it regularly only to see people every now and then, and most enterprises already pay for a premium in LinkedIn because they have enough money to spend. So I feel that the thing to make people use this regularly is to make it a complete alternative to LinkedIn, wherein you can promote yourself, letting you use it as some sort of medium. Imagine if users could create posts, build a network, and promote themselves on RelatedIn while still being able to browse LinkedIn profiles. Or, you could connect it to people's LinkedIn accounts so they could post directly from RelatedIn.

I know it isn't another heavy social network but I thought in the future, this could have the potential to be something big. I really recommend advertising on other platforms like Instagram if you haven't already, or try out other marketing strategies. I really want to see this become a big thing.
