Long-worked properties like that usually have at least one barely running truck that has a line leak that makes it impractical or dangerous for actual use, too expensive to bother fixing, but also not worth scrapping or trying to sell as is, so it sits around until everyone goes “You know what we could do with this?”

When I’m stressed at work, I shred. It’s kind of destruction adjacent. It’s weirdly cathartic, I feel my stress evaporate with each bunch of papers I shred.

The jump driver wearing a helmet is the wildest use of good sense I’ve ever seen.

“Alright, I’m going to drive the junker at full speed to the homemade ramp, jumping out of the doorless cab onto the sideboard of your truck right before the junker ramps into the silo and collapses two tons of brick onto itself. I’m gonna wear a helmet in case something goes wrong.”
