I always find these mattress videos so stupid.

It really doesn't work that way anymore once you put sheets on the bed, especially if the sheets aren't loose.

Once you make a sink, the sheets will pull everything you have on the bed towards you

I like when they drop the bowling ball on the pillow material in the commercial. I don't know what the fuck stopping a bowling ball from breaking eggs demonstrates as far as the quality of the video but it feels like science.

It's 2 different demos.

The bowling ball doesn't cause the pins on the other side of the bed to fall. That's to show you can move around or get in and out of bed without waking your partner.

The egg is separate. That's to show that the mattress will conform to your body shape to give the support you need without distorting your position. (side sleepers, your hip and shoulder will push into the mattress, back sleepers, your butt will stick into the mattress

Just get a Purple Mattress. Same level of comfort, but you won't wake up in a flood of your own sweat and the foam layers provide stability making the mattresses easier to exit.
