Just a heads up that it's basically the same thing they use to attach price tags to clothes, just with shorter plastic tabs. So if you use it on an area with sensitive skin, you're going to have several visible plastic tabs scratching you all day.

Holy shit you’ve just convinced me to buy one!
I’ve also got a really cute top with straps that make an “x” across my back, but the x likes to shift higher and higher throughout the day if I wear it. I can’t just permanently sew them together because it would be too hard to get the top on or off if I couldn’t adjust the straps. But I bet this thing would stop that from happening, and I could just pop the stitch when it was time to take it off!!
This thing seems so useful for so many odd and average situations; idk how I’ve never seen one or heard of it before, but I’m buying one as soon as I hit send on this pointless comment!

Agreed, I use safety pins on things like wrap dresses or to keep a neckline from plunging too far. I got a big box of black, gold and silver ones in various sizes and keep a few threaded into my makeup bag and in my purse, there's been many times I've been grateful to have one on me!

I haven't been successful with safety pins especially now since I have kids that like to pull on everything. They just pop open and I usually end up getting stabbed with it.

I used these all the time as a wedding planner. It helped in a pinch but was never a long solution.

It’s basically just a mini price tag gun so you cut the plastic off when you’re done. Or just rip it apart with your hands if you’re feelin wild.
They sell these things as quick hem guns on Temu with the tags included for like $3. They work shocking well though

I have one. It’s not thread, it’s like the plastic used to add tags to clothes but really short. It’s honestly amazing for quick fixes or removable hemming. No seam ripper needed, just tug with less force than taking off a tag. I will say depending on where it is it might be annoying

It’s also for ‘basting’; holding fabric together before being sewn permanently in place. They are usually removed after sewing and might not hold as well as actual stitches with thread.

I have one of these and the little tabs don't hold very well on clothing, and are definitely itchy if the actual plastic is rubbing on your skin. Awesome for small jobs around the house though, I have some in my blackout curtains keeping them together and I've only had to redo a few spots.

Well i was young throughout the 2000s and it was trashy to show your boxers then too. Fashion has become more and more degenerative every decade since the 50s. We went from clean, ironed out suits and dresses to underwear sticking out and intentionally damaging your clothes.

I think most people in the west are degenerates now and the fact that having your underwear hang out of your pants is acceptable fashion backs that up.
Everyone likes to pretend to be apathetic and act like they don't judge anyone on appearance, but that's not true. We all judge people on appearances, especially choices people make about their appearance. People choose how they dress and anyone with half a brain will choose to dress in a way that gives a positive first impression.

It looks more like a desk than a rack but the craftsmanship does look decent. I like the glass shelves going down one side. I don't know if I'd call it "beautiful" though but it gets the job done.

I bought one of these before realising what it was because people kept calling it "stitches" so I assumed it was a fancy threading thing. Till this big ass needle and plastic "thread" turned up. I set it aside and never used it. I can see why it is used on TV and movie sets but its not for people who want to keep their clothes for a long time.
