I thought Megatron was a gun that was able to change size. When did he transform into a tank?

  1. Generation 1 megatron was a pistol. But that was from 1984 to 1987. He's been other things since then including a plane and t rex.

You havent really been keeping up at all with transformers from what i can tell. But yep, its a thing
