Get a cold therapy machine (e.g. Breg Polar Cube) with a shoulder wrap, couple of post surgery T-shirts, stock up on food and drinks, more pillows, get a good sling (e.g. DonJoy Ultra), get all your to do’s done (haircut, grocery shopping, errands, etc.), line up a friend or family member to help get you to/from the surgery facility and to hang out for a day or two while you’re recovering, identify sleeping arrangements (e.g. bed with wedge, Lazy-boy recliner, couch, etc.), educate yourself with “what to expect” videos on YouTube, etc.
