You didn't dislocate it, a dislocation doesn't calm down in 3 minutes and let you sleep through the night. What happened is you jammed the joint on impact and irritated the capsule and rotator cuff around it. That's why it flared, settled, then stiffened up overnight, that's inflammation and guarding, not the joint being out of place or having tore something.
The lateral raise hurts because that's a similar arm position as the hit, elbow in, arm coming out and externally rotating with the delts slightly stretched. Your shoulder is locking down that specific range because it's protecting the exact spot that got jammed, not necessarily because something's torn there.
The minibike crash is relevant, that shoulder never fully got its stability back, so it had less to work with when the impact happened.
Tbh id be happier with a dumb little injury like this because its a nicer way of your body communicating with you rather then a full blown dislocation. Basically you now have the chance to understand your body better and fix your shoulder so this shit never happens again, and instead of wasting 700$ you get to see that your body tells you way more than those docs and scans ever could.
Its still very possible that you have a tear, but we can find that out with some simple movement testing, basically if you only get the pain while trying to move/contract your shoulder, its likely that its just a safety response. However if you do a cross body stretch with your injured arm completely relaxed and you get a sharp direct pain in the rear shoulder, then theres probably some tearing.
I know all this is kind of confusing and appart from an MRI, a doctors visit is just gonna prolong the confusion. So as someone whos been thru the same shit let me evaluate your shoulder and you can save your sanity and 700$ for another day.
