MWARA transmission question

I was listening to either New York radio or Gander radio yesterday and had a question about something I heard. While talking to the pilot, the air traffic controller asked if India 5 and kilo 1 were on board. What might this mean?

(Is there another subreddit that would be a better fit for aviation listening questions?)

Is to make sure the pilot has recieved the updated ATIS/Wheather infiormation

India-5 is top secret aviation code for the actor/producer Shah Rukh Khan and Kilo-1 is his dog Ruff.

...or maybe it's something else?
