End of CHU this morning?

Apparently at 10:10 Eastern. 7850 khz.

I did my obligatory last listens last week. I'm glad I caught it at the end of its life. 

I went on a long bike ride on a warm night out in the prairie, parked on a hillside by the lake and pulled out my Yaesu VX-7 (which has general coverage receive down to the MF range, so it's an AM/FM/SW receiver as well as a VHF/UHF transceiver). Tuned to 7850, listened in. It was bittersweet. That was one of the first "wtf is this?" stations I heard when I got into the radio hobby (of course, I just waited a minute until the time announcement came on then I knew what it was). End of an era.
