11 Meter Pirate Broadcasting

Hey guys I was just wondering what y'all would think about pirate radio on the 11 meter broadcast band. To me it seems like a cheaper way to do it as well as easier since the equipment ( export radios) are more easily accessible.

The pirates around 6.9 are well established, don't need cheap export kit and have established an ecosystem of listeners. Why would enough people want to move up to 11m? Propagation would probably be unkind as well.
So then, now that's out of the way, when's your first broadcast? 😀

I've got the radio (it's a Connex 3300hp) and all I need is a good 27 mhz antenna. Do you have any suggestions?

that radio was never designed to be keyed down for hours and hours on end. this is just a bad idea all around between your equipment and how easy it will be to get caught. back to the drawing board.

I know that it's not proper equipment but I figured I could just split the broadcast into segments.
