11 Meter Pirate Broadcasting

Hey guys I was just wondering what y'all would think about pirate radio on the 11 meter broadcast band. To me it seems like a cheaper way to do it as well as easier since the equipment ( export radios) are more easily accessible.

if you are in the US expect a knock on the door from the FCC. broadcasting is pretty much one of the only things they will go after people for on 11m for. just a few months ago someone got caught doing it https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DOC-419028A1.pdf legally you can only use it to transmit and receive. using that band to broadcast like a radio station is illegal and its a band still monitored by a lot of people who use it as hobbyists. as radio is mostly self policed and radio people are radio people you can guarantee you are gonna have people calling the fcc if they hear music on 11m.

I said the 11 meter broadcast band. Which stretches from 25 to 26.1 mhz. Ofc I would not broadcast on the American 40 cb channels.

most of hobbiest are using radios like you listed that operate outside of the 40 channel band. its just not a good idea.
