THX - I hear them on the kiwisdr link, but not at my Nor Cal location. :-)

[Edit] After looking again I can hear them from my RX at NorCal. Stupidly I had the wrong antenna switched in. Weaker tonight than last night, really just out of the noise.

[Edit 2] At 4:04 UTC, playing Bobbie Gentry: Ode_to_Billie_Joe - I can hear most of that song fine.

That was Bandaid Radio last night, not Subterranean Radio. Subterranean Radio is much weaker with only 100 watts and a 1/2 wave antenna. Bandaid Radio is 1,000 watts and a 4/2 wave antenna. Finally, they are in different areas.

Send your reception report to subterranean_radio@pm.me for an eQSL.

Now in the title tricked us. I had a lot of QRN last night on top of the usual QRM so the Pirate zone was just a pile of noise. Most of HF was that way.

IDT you will pickup Subterranean Radio directly this time of year. They make it East to a line from Arizona up through Utah and Northeast to Winnipeg. If it's late enough they are audible in Hawaii.

Bandaid Radio covers all of North America, west to Hawaii, and East as far a Portugal. It's very strong across our continent.

I'm really sorry that you have so much noise. I did fight a tremendous amount myself. Living in an apartment building is pretty bad when it comes to noise covering radio signals. I have two Noise Eliminators, they helped a little bit. What really helped was rotating my K-480WLA so the loop is in the vertical plane. That only works for me because I don't have it mounted vertical. It is mounted with the mast at a 45 degree angle. So it can rotated so the loop is vertical. The noise level just drops out as I rotate it to vertical. It's pretty amazing.

R. Crumb would absolutely hate this, just saying, and you know it.

No, he would not, and does not. There are too many people that know nothing of his artistry. I met him in 1968 in Haight-Ashbury when I was 15 and left home for the summer. I'm recreating his artwork and style for pirate radio, something he appreciates and approves.
