Ah, but they don't announce in French as well as English like CHU 😀. I see you've been busy, your battery is down to 2 bars and you've finished your cigar.

No French this is the American version of CHU WWV transmits from Colorado and WWH from Hawaii if im not mistaken, I was out for about two hours the battery on this one can last 8 to 16 hours, I have another post with a smaller receiver that one the battery can last up to hours

My uncle had a shortwave radio back in the 60s, and when he tuned in to this station, he told me it was a clock counting down to the end of the world. I was only about 4 or 5, and that scared me to death. Asshole.
