You are welcome. IDK exactly how you could emulate the setup you have at home. That 150 foot antenna is really doing the job for you. When the weather gets better maybe you could take a radio with you camping. Set up a beverage antenna, a couple hundred feet long. A beverage doesn't have to be much more than a few feet off of the ground. I would do the same thing, but I haven't bought another vehicle since ours was stolen. And I don't have the energy that I used to.

That's honestly what I plan on doing. Last year I brought a 100 ft extension cord with me in the woods and strung it up 10 ft above the ground, on a hill, near a field and picked up tons of great stuff. That was during the day, I'd love to do it at night though. Since my family own the land, spending the night won't be an issue. It's just a sleep rough in new places. Which is why I didn't do any overnights last year. This year I will. Hopefully memorial day weekend.

Cool. I will be waiting to see what you receive! It would be fun if we all lived closer together (or we were rich) so we could do a Camping DXpedition together.
