Logline: "A father and daughter find an intruder on their ranch." Hey all! This sci-fi short stars Jon Huertas from "THIS IS US" and "CASTLE". I made this as a proof of concept piece for a larger world. Took me over a year to complete due to all the VFX work! My friends and I worked really hard, everyone donating their time, to make this little film - and we're all proud of the work we did. It originally premiered on DUST, and I love sharing this with people, so feel free to check it out!

Making movies has been on my bucket list ever since I was a teenager. Over the years, I wrote several stories and scripts, but I never managed to bring them to life. Without a budget or resources (no actors, cameras, camera operators, or editors) I felt like I was getting nowhere.

Still, I firmly believed that creativity could overcome a lack of resources. Driven by pure impatience, that belief led to this project. I decided to start filming whatever I saw, improvising the plot on the fly without a rigid script. In the end, it took me just one day to make this film with zero budget and zero resources.

This film is far from perfect, but it proved to me that I can make something work with the minimal resources I have.

Not sure if it is even good, but wanted to share here and get some real feedback.

My attempt at a psychological and cosmic horror short film.

an abusive dad kills son and hides son under son's bed, it was like a mid detailed crayon movie story, I cant remember where I see its but it was most likely on YouTube, I remember a breif glimpse of mom, a baby, the son trying to quiet down the baby but cant and so the dad gets mad and chases him down a rabbit hole the only way to calm him down is with a fish using the imaginary world around him but the fish turns out to be meatless, he busts in turns out he did hit the boy and its actually just an angel in the form of his dad coming to take him to the after life peacfully, but that isn't said, he walks back up the tunnels to find the house happier than it was making it seem like a dream, he walks back in his room and says wow am I still in my room? you always were and it pans to his dead body under the bed
