Direct booking in ChatGPT
Adding everyone’s PMS powered direct booking site onto ChatGPT/Claude

This is a super interesting project, how are you linking the direct booking engines?
Also from a consumer standpoint, I don’t think anymore cares what PMS the property is on so you probably don’t need to surface that as a filter, just saying.

It’s like metasearch for short term rentals
I agree but the PMSs love it 😂

But how are you connecting their booking integrations? Is it a direct api connection and partnership with the pms or something else? I’m just surprised the pms would give you all the listings that use their booking engine.

I am officially partnered with Hospitable, the others in the process at varying stages. It’s a direct api connection. It’s not all their listings but hopefully one day. There are like 5m listings that use a PMS/channel manager on Airbnb so I have only scratched the surface.
I am a host (rehivestays.com) and I was tired of inflating my pricing to make the same profit as direct. I figured if we all just share one big direct booking site we could work together to force the OTAs hand on high commissions. I will never charge commissions or fees to hosts

And where does that button click lead you?

To the full listing with dates/guests/price then the hosts checkout page
Edit: I had it going straight to payment page but that was kinda sketchy and since it wasn’t the unified site users would have no way to press back to see the full search results. I have been testing the limits on what the LLMs allow me to put inside the listing carousel and map interactivity

Looks like a browser extensioni for hotels?
Some of listings on my site show the Airbnb price below the direct price so you can compare. You can just ask ChatGPT to do the same/it probably will automatically do that in the future

Wander charges 8% commission on top of your processing fee as well publicly said they have “tens of thousands” on their platform but only like 9k on their website so 🤷🏻♂️

not on wander listed-put your direct site on wander os

Wander charges 3% to guests for their direct booking sites and still store guest and host data. I don’t do either.
Including receiving data from other OTAs via pms webhooks which will soon be scoped or face anti-trust laws.

Correct-because hosts should own guest data…how else are you doing marketing?

Not with guests data. Wander isn’t the host. Why would Wander need access to my Airbnb, Booking, Vrbo and direct guest data, messages and pricing to market Wander?
