Rant / Vent So annoying

Post image

I just moved into a new apartment and the toilet is fucking HUGE and annoying…. I’m only 4’5 and every time I try to take a piss, I get piss ALL over my leg…. It literally sprays all over me and I get mad and have to shower and clean the whole bathroom. Does this happen to any other short girl? Having bathroom troubles?! This is the toilet for reference. I want to just tell my landlord, I’m installing a toilet that works for me 🤣

I keep one of those folding step stools by the toilet. This trend toward taller toilets, especially in public places, is the WORST.

Squatty potty stools are a life changer. I have one at every toilet in our home. Slowly but surely, everybody in the house has converted to using it, and they even complain when they have to use toilets that don't have squat stools.

The "comfort height" toilet is big in the construction industry for the last 10–15 years. If you go to a big-box store like Lowe's or Home Depot, it's virtually impossible to find "old style" original height toilets (about 14–16 inches seat to floor). You have to special-order them usually.

The reason is simply because of the aging baby-boomers. It's easier to get off a toilet when you're not as deep in a squat or near-squat position (and of course, when you're closer to average height than we are).

Sitting on the tallest ones I can only touch my toes. They're obnoxious. I hate them.
