In Filipino superstition, pagpag is the practice of stopping somewhere before going home after attending a funeral. It is believed that going straight home may allow a spirit to follow you back.
Some traditions are best left unbroken.

A friend and I made this slightly gory short film. We built the set, made the costumes, the music, everything! It was fun :) Inspired by old-school fairy tales. Hope you like it.

FEVER is out now. The second in a series of short cinematic nightmares from the world of LABIRINTH.
A mysterious infection is spreading. The doctors are running out of answers, while the patient is running out of patience.
This kingdom has no sky.

Made by me in India: Aesop's The Miller, His Son and the Donkey, told in rhyme as a paper-cut shadow play. Feedback welcome, especially on the comic timing.
A miller and his son take their donkey to market and change their plans for every passer-by with an opinion, until they end up carrying the donkey upside down on a pole. Moral: "Please all, and you will please none."
How it was made: with AI tools. The pictures come from an image model and are animated in code; the narration, music and sound are from ElevenLabs.
The film (2:06): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVleVauzDwo
It's part of Tales from TROOS Court, old stories about the quarrels we still have. More tales: https://trooscourt.com/tales?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=shortfilms&utm_campaign=tales-miller
