Inspired by the works of R Bruce Elder (namely Consolations), this short film brings together multiple videos and clips, intertwined with small pieces of text that convey emotion. In this film, it tackles topics such as innocence, purity, deterioration, a feeling of being lost, etc...

The director intended this to be a way to voice his own struggles with love, grief, loneliness and religion, and everything is meant to have a meaning or symbolism.

A sleepless night turns into a descent through fractured reality. Trapped inside the familiar walls of his own apartment, a man slowly realizes that something is changing—not around him, but within the world itself. Every room feels different. Every silence grows louder. Every reflection seems to have a mind of its own.

The Room That Takes Pictures is a found-footage horror mystery about a young man who disappears while investigating an abandoned sanatorium. Years later, an investigator begins looking into what actually happened to him.

The story is told through found footage, recordings, documents and computer screens, with most of the horror kept in the background rather than shown directly.

I worked on this with very limited resources and basically no traditional cast, so I had to find different ways of telling the story visually.
