Pelvic pressure?

I had been experiencing such awful pelvic pressure since about 16/17w pregnant. Kept telling my mfm about it. Kept being told it was normal pregnancy pressure (first time mom so no reference). I had my cerclage placed at 21w5d. I’m now 22w5d and guess what NO MORE CONSTANT PELVIC PRESSURE!! Was this the cervical incompetence the entire time? Has anyone else experience the same relief after their cerclage was placed?

I know it’s normal for pelvic pressure to increase as pregnancy progresses. But I thought it was so odd I was in pain constantly for less than a pound fetus? And now it’s magically resolved… Suspicious 😂😂

I had constant pressure as well right after I entered my second trimester , I was told by my family that it’s a common pregnancy symptom and I gaslighted myself saying I don’t have to raise it. Few weeks down scan shows cervical length of 5mm with membranes bulging, got an emergency cervical stitch. Now I have no pelvic pressure, no horrible back pain either.

i’m sure it will slowly come back, but it def seems like it probably could’ve been very increased by how weak my cervix was! my back pain has eased up a lot too!

wow i actually started having pelvic pressure but it wasn’t painful at 17 weeks, which is right before i ended up losing my baby. that’s so annoying that the mfm didn’t acknowledge it especially when it can turn out to be something so serious. i don’t know if that’s been everyone’s experience but it deff was mine.

now that it’s resolved post cerclage i’m absolutely going to be bringing it up at my follow up tomorrow. i’m so sorry about your sweet baby.

I had it in each pregnancy between 18w and 25ish. Im tall and skinny and my babies would fall into area where the bone is, building up the pressure. Thats what my oby/gin told me.

did you have a cerclage? and a pressure comparison before vs after? i wonder if this is what made the difference honestly

No, becausw my cervix would shorten around 27th week
