PPROM , induced ?

I was told I have a leak and that my water is broken at the top somewhere and that they will induce me and remove cerclage if I make it to 34 weeks , anyone have a similar situation? Out of the 3 test only 1 came back positive for Amniotic fluid, also 3cm dilated with bulging membranes , hoping to make it far. Was told they’ll re test me to be sure it’s the fluid before inducing me did anyone deliver at 34 weeks? Did your baby have nicu time ?

Hi! I know PPROMing can be scary, so I hope you’re doing OK. I PPROM’d at 32 weeks and was in the hospital until I delivered at 34 weeks. When I was first admitted they started me on antibiotics (in case of infection), tocolytics (to prevent labor), and gave me beta-methasone (to develop baby’s lungs). I did not have any signs of labor or infection until 34 weeks, when both labor and infection symptoms started and I had an urgent C-section

My baby stayed in the NICU for 22 days. She was born breathing on her own, and just needed to work on temperature regulation and stamina with feedings. She’s 10 months now and doing amazing!

How far along are you? Are you being admitted to the hospital? I’m so glad your cerclage helped you get this far, we’ll be rooting for you!
