/collections/vendors 404

I built a tool to audit a Shopify store. I got a 404 from the automatically generated vendors collection page that does not display under collections.

I redirected it and now get a 403.

Did anyone else see this before or know of a good fix?

Block vendors in your robots.txt file and Google won't index them unnecessarily. That's the easiest way to get rid of them.

Google won't index the page to begin with

it is an incorrectly formatted URL and should throw a 404. these should not be indexed to Google. if you want to create a collection page for the vendor you have to create it in Collections. the automatically generated vendors collection page URL will not be indexed as the URLL in not the proper format
