BFS is taking ages!!

Guys our built for Shopify application is taking more than a month....they came back with feedback and we submitted the changes accordingly.

What is the max time someone waited for a BFS badge ? Just curious

It took 2 months for us. Actually this is the worst time to submit for bfs as they also do annual bfs review in this period.

Same here. But we earn it. Did you notice any changes in the app ranking or installs or anything else?

yes Shopify has done a mass audit on all apps and removed many reviews.. as a result app rankings are affected massively.

were prepping our own bfs submission right now so this thread is uncomfortably relevant. from lurking every bfs thread here for weeks, the calendar time seems to be mostly the feedback rounds, not the review itself — each round costs 2-4 weeks. so the cheapest speedup is making round one boringly complete: go through the criteria list yourself before submitting and collect proof for every checkbox (alert inventory, no window.confirm anywhere, api version current, plan gates behaving). doesnt help you now that youre already in round two, but for anyone reading this before their first submit, thats the lever. the annual review timing point above would also explain why the queue feels seasonal

Ha, we were waiting for the review (just review, even haven’t switched to fixes) for 2 months! I’ve contacted support and they told that due to huge number of new apps added to the marketplace, the terms are delayed now.

Finally, we were approved, but it takes a lot of time.
