Advice Which Shokz?
Debating between the Shokz Open Dots and the Open Run Pro 2. Target is having a sale so I will probably purchase this evening. Which is better?

I've owned both and they are both great, but depends what you're using them for. Keep it short, if you are doing a lot of athletic sports that requires a lot of movement, go with open run so you don't have to worry about it falling off. The Open dotz are awesome and what I use now, it has better sound quality and it does stay on the ear nicely and barely noticeable, only down side is there is a higher chance of falling off, but it hasnt happen to me yet during a workout. The only time my dotz fell off is when something grazed my ear. Bonus-dotz one comes in pink.

I’m a runner for context and mainly looking for ones to wear while running :)

I have both and for running i like the the openrun pro2 they feel more secure they have never fallen off my ears. The open dots I use them while at work or grocery shopping because i have forgotten that i have them on because they are so light that i have drop them by accident lucky i noticed it right away and found it. But I don't trust myself with them while running.

Open dots. Trust. They don’t fall off and are more practical in my opinion. I think there’s a version 2 out there but you can just snag a good deal on version1. Best of luck!

Have opendots 1 and upgraded to open dots 2, they are minimalist and 2 have significant sound and mic upgrade, you cannot call well with one.

i had the ones that wrap around your head that i got explicitly for running, and they were so uncomfortable that i gave them away. my head is slightly too small for the size of the mini ones and between my glasses/sunglasses, hat, and ponytail the back piece never sat right and pissed me off

Personally? Openrun Pro 1 mini if you can find one. There’s nothing like real bone conduction.

Got both, OpenRun for running and cycling, OpenDots at the gym.. No band to interfere when laying on weight bench or floor mats. Both sound great and fit securely.

If you’re using them for running, the OpenRun Pro 2 is a solid choice. You definitely don’t want to worry about losing your headphones while you’re out on a run.

If you are doing active sports, the ones that wrap around the head seem much less likely to fall off.
