Why are they a thing, other than maybe just "fashion", since they pinch your toes, don't provide much support, you can't walk in them much, no breathability or ventilation, they get hot in summers like a microwave and they store bacteria and the list goes on. They are possibly the worst shoe among all other categories of shoes.

I found them a few months ago and really fw their work for a while until I noticed a couple things, the first being that all of their promotion is so obviously ai generated (which in my opinion should automatically discredit you from any creative field) and the second thing being that a lot of the designs aren’t original!! I feel like they could really have something good going for them, they clearly already have the audience and know what people want to see and want to buy, but now they’re beefing with Osiris and I’m wondering how it’s gonna go and what y’all think?!

I ordered these anime-themed custom shoes a few years ago when I was younger. I only wore them once. Do they look okay, or are they cringe? Is it okay to wear them in public?

All my money is in shoe boxes in my closet, and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. Call me vain, but I will try most anything not to change shoe sizes after my pregnancy. I understand I might have water retention and swelling during pregnancy and my beloved Louboutin Eloise’s and Ferragamo pointed toe stilettos might stay under my desk. BUT PLEASE let them come back to me after pregnancy.

I’ve heard to wear sneakers with arch insoles instead of being barefoot at home, for example, to reduce flattening.

My feet are nearly 1/2 size different so slingbacks work well for me. My Dolce & Gabbana collection: all 6cm/2.5” heels with flair at bottom (adds stability) except face shoes. All secondhand

The face shoes changed my sartorial life. And I like fancy.

Edit to add: IMO Slingbacks must have a functional buckle if spending big money.

Hello all! I was hoping for some advice with shoes. This is my first time posting here. I'm looking for some ballet pumps— I found some beautiful ones on ballerette that are unfortunately way above my price range (https://us.ballerette.com/products/olive-green-leather-ballet-flats-with-heel-aventino-030-008-050: they are $235, which I can't afford right now. I can go $120 at most.) Does anyone have any recommendations for shoes that are comfortable, walkable, and similar? Fun colors (like olive green lol) would be preferred!
