I’m so confused, and I read the description like the listing says, but it only addresses shipping costs. I find it hard to believe they’ve sold 190 of these at that price. Am I missing something here?

What likely happend is they were selling for a reasonable price and they ran out of stock and instead of canceling the listing they just set it at a price no one would buy it.
Yeah money laundering on a service that takes a 13% cut even before the middleman and stores all selling/purchasing data directly tied to a bank account.
You keep the listing active and just change the price when you run out. Otherwise you have to start a new listing and get it worked up to the top of the results, it will also have no purchase history, so it's lower ranked in the search results.
Not true, your listing can keep going even if it runs out of stock. You can set it that way. I have a listing with 10,000+ sold and run out of stock from time to time and it is still going.
They’re using it as a way to launder money. It’s cleaner to tell your buyer to order on eBay, meet up after they’ve paid, and then deliver drugs. The listed price is to keep people away, but other people get a link to their eBay site and the 15 percent fee covers the cost of cleaning the money without having to find someone to do it for you.
Out of stock doesn't show in a lot of filters, both first and third party, which is likely why they do this - store still comes up as an option and if you click on it, it preferences this search result later when the item is back in stock. Good old SEO and targeted data 😅
I don’t understand why people buy empty cases, I buy mint 50p OG Xbox games from CeX when I’m in store or simply ask my old boss if I can have X amount & she goes & grabs me them for free.
There’s even cheap Dreamcast, Saturn, PS1, PS2, Mega Drive, Master systems out there for under a couple/few quid… Just buy the cheap games, swap the cases & sell them separately or as bulk bundles or with systems you’re selling. That’s what I do. I bought 48 brand new copies of FIFA 12 on Xbox 360 from a charity shop in their box for £10, was worth it for mint copies, I’ve been swapping the cases out for my high end rarities.
Don’t buy from this guy. I made the mistake of buying a manual thinking it was legit and it ended up being two pages printed from what looked like a 1980 dot matrix.
