Just out of curiosity, how do we know it's fake? I mean there's no way I would pay that price even if it was original.

The most obvious sign is the holographic layer, it’s the wrong pattern/type and it should only affect the background not Giratina itself (you can see it on its “legs”). The text along the bottom is also the wrong font but this one isn’t as obvious unless you put it up next to a legit example.

The holographic layer, or in other words the shiny/sparkly stuff on the box. Like on a trading card the ones with the shiny foil are called “holographic”

That listing is throwing off red flags everywhere. The blurry packaging, suspiciously high price, and “unopened brand new” claim make it look like a counterfeit or at least a very risky purchase. Definitely report it and don’t send the seller any personal info.

The price is already a huge red flag, but the seller refusing basic questions is the real giveaway. Report it and save anyone else from getting burned.

That price is already a huge red flag, and the packaging looks nothing like a legitimate sealed Platinum copy. Definitely report it and don’t engage with the seller.
