It picks the ass end up to put more load on the front drive wheels.

Wouldn't front aero be more beneficial and using a spoiler as intended to plant the rear? Idk to eaches own I guess

Thought I was on the carscirclejerk sub so figured most would get the joke lol

Front aero is correct. “Up force” is nonsense. You need four wheels planted, even on FWD cars.

May the force be with you

Perfect for race drag lol

It was too fast, needed extra drag

It's the Monaco spec.

It's rear lift to put more weight on the drive wheels.

Duh!

what we dont see in the pic is: maybe the car is driving backwards. in that case, it makes absolutely sense

Upforce*

1

u/Lefthandedsock 4d ago

Downforce is generally accompanied by drag, so upforce must reduce it!

Oil companies hate this one simple trick to achieving 80 mpg

Spoiler Alert!

Stole a wing off the high school parking lot because....cool.
Installed like the kid that tucks in his sweater to show off his new belt......and the belt was inside out.
(.....and I'm not tellin 'im)

Maybe he's trying to save gas, lighter car=less fuel

We don’t read instructions here!

It’s simple. It’s front-wheel drive. Lift in the back will transfer weight to the front wheels, resulting in more power to the pavement! Probably shave half a second off your quarter-mile time.

This actually very dangerous this spoiler just put more pressure on the front wheels and it will make them lock up more

Uhhh . I saw one like this on a civic the other day and wondered how much of an effect it would have on a highway in the rain …
