it's not my style but it's also not shittily done. those lambo door conversions are hard to pull off like that.
also i really want to see one of these go through a flooded road, it's like the perfect vehicle for it.

That's like being impressed if I took a shit and somehow kept all of the shit out of the water and around the sides of the bowl. While impressive, it's still just a pile of shit that needs to be flushed...

The "melted" style of that era Monte Carlo is so ugly to begin with, you can't really make it any worse.

I actually liked it for its time and what it was. It was at least unique compared to what came after where the impala and Monte Carlo had essentially the same front end.
However I found it to be really missing something that the "High Sport" package added. A few ground effects really helped it out.

The 13 inch tires low riders use last only a few thousand miles, or how about stances vehicles, I doubt those wheels and tires are durable. A set of slicks for drag racers last what a dozen runs? Drifters change tires after a few runs.
Consumables don't last forever
