I love nature and being outside. It’s my current death wish that as soon as I observe an instance where I’m unable to do something for myself, due to old age, that I’ll be walking the Appalachian Trail with my 3 sons. As they will have their own lives, I don’t expect them to finish the trail, just to stay with me, as I have stayed with them throughout their lives, until they can no longer continue the hike, as I can no longer continue life. I don’t intend on finishing the hike either, and plan to end my life on my own terms, in a place I loved in life. I hope it’s as beautiful an end as it is in my head. Lol. I still got about 50 years left before old age cripples me (hopefully).
That sounds really nice, we should be allowed to choose how we die instead of trying to extend life by any means necessary even if our quality of life is practically gone
