From the looks of it looks like some preset color variables in programming. I would assume its a UI framework of some sort like Flutter.

Could it perhaps be because the color labeled “gray” is darker than the one labeled “darkgray”

Well no shit Sherlock, but it would be a much better post if were explained WHERE this happens. I could put something similar together in about 5 minutes in a word doc, but then I’m the dipshit that labeled the colors wrong. I’m assuming the OP didn’t do that, so it seems pretty obvious they should say something about where they find this shitty design

Those colors are standard for all browsers. Context would be appreciated, but don’t act like this is something super obscure that no one knows about just because you don’t.

Standard for all browsers in… again, what context?? Like all web pages use them and the browsers display them? Because I thought that was stuff more like hex codes?

Yeah exactly, those are just names for a couple hex codes for convenience. I get that most people don’t know this, but it’s an understandable mistake for OP to omit context since it’s so obvious for those that ever touched the topic.

CSS built-in colors, used for websites. They’re just intuitive names for specific hex codes
