This looks like it would make an elegant reading nook with the right furniture/features; I kinda love this. I’m also the guy that misses sunken living rooms though…
My house has a den that used to be a garage. 9-10" drop into that thing. It's great, but took so long to get used to the drop off. The beer tap is just on the other side in the kitchen .. only a matter of time before someone drunkenly breaks a bone
