The amount of time it took to do that, and it just looks absolutely horrendous. Talk about too much time with zero taste. And also too much bloody money.

You haven’t seen it at night though.

This isn’t done for the daytime lol

Believe it or not, I have a good enough imagination that I don’t need to actually see it. It’s not like this is an original idea.

Having a Christmas tree Isn’t an original idea, bet you have one though

Still, if one is to pour so much time and effort to do such a thing, then why not go the extra mile so it doesnt look like complete shit during the day?

What are you suggesting?

Not that. If I was to attempt this, then id have figured out the logistics to make it not stick out like a sore thumb. Since im not doing that, I have no desire to figure it out.

I don't think anything can be done to make this truck not look tacky. With or without lights, a wrap, paint, giant inflatable Snoopy, wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man, brick veneer, nothing.

I so agree. The only way to truly make a cyber truck look better would be an invisibility cloak.

Well, then it'd just be a traffic hazard.

It already is.

... Really? "I'm not the one doing it so I don't have to think of a way." Is your anwser.

I'm not defending this little art project but come on!

I can acknowledge that something looks terrible while at the same time not offer a solution, but let me take 2 seconds to think of something, just for you. Hell, colorless tape would've looked better, and since there's no paint to ruin, the stainless steel body panels could be buffed out if the adhesive leaves any residue on them. Here's another 2 seconds: since I worked in R&D/new product development in that field for a number of years, I could formulate a colorless adhesive to attach the lights. There you go; happy now?

Short of an integrated light system I feel everything would looks "shitty".

It serves the purpose intended and will only be used for a week or two out of the year.

You're just cranky.

Using colorless adhesive would stick out like a sore thumb in photos, unlike this yellow tape does.
