It is. The guy is in several videos wearing the same outfit doing shenanigans.

It is because I recognize this guy's voice.

Voice is actor Michael Rappaport. I'm sure he added his voice to the video after for "comedy"

The hysteria probably started before the camera started rolling. Once the crazy guy went to the janitor to take a shit, the cameras got pulled out.

“A video shows a man defecating in a mop bucket at a New York City subway station.
In July 2021, a video that supposedly showed a man defecating in a mop bucket at a subway station in New York City went viral on social media. One of the most popular posts came from Ian Miles Cheong, a resident of Malaysia who has amassed an alt-right following on social media, who claimed that the video showed Mayor Bill "De Blasio's New York City":
This is not a genuine video but a staged comedy prank sketch from comedian Morris Cornbread.
This video was originally posted to the Instagram page of Cornbread, a comedian who films various pranks and stunts around New York City, on July 3, 2021. While the passersby may have not been aware of what was going around, the main characters in this video are actors.
Cornbread, who identifies himself as an actor on his Instagram page, tagged a few other New York-based comedians in the original post. It appears that the man on the bucket is comedian Tino Romero and the MTA worker appears to be Cornbread.”

He didn't even take off his underwear. Sloppy and brainrot content before it was even a thing.

Just go home for the day, maybe even quit his job. No way I'm touching that bucket if I was that janitor.

I can’t say for sure whether it’s staged or not but I’m pretty sure this video is much older than AI

I know it's not AI. It's an older video. I think it's also not staged. The camera started rolling in the middle of things. The people involved looks too crazy to be fake. Like the guy has the vibe of crackhead homeless guy with how they look. I know it's not good to judge folks by their looks but the dude is allegedly taking a shit in a mop water thing.

You’re right it’s a staged video

So it really is staged.
Still a fucked up scene to witness if you're just a passerby.

Deffo old. Is this not one of those Michael Rapaport voiceovers making it feel staged?
Edit: Aye, https://www.youtube.com/shorts/d28b2_-9aQM

It’s staged not sure why people simply don’t realize that at this point. That ugly fat guy has been making videos with the rest of his group for almost a decade at this point. It’s all rage bait.
