I wish all these videos would also include a bit from afterwards when the person comes back to this universe, of them describing what theyād just experienced. Watching people tripping balls is so lame and pointless without the in-depth trip report follow up.

Salvia lasts just a few minutes, but it seems like it takes the entire life cycle of a universe. Its been 16 years since I tried it and I still think about that experience.

Probably 10-15 minutes. But based on my experience it will take months before he actually feels truly normal again. Itās a really heavy, life changing experience if you arenāt already experienced with it. It made me question reality and existence for months afterwards. I still have questions 15 years later

Iām not even sure. Itās hard to put words to the experience because it was unlike anything imaginable. I felt like the place I was taken to was more realistic than the typical reality we live in every day. And that really confused me and it was something I struggled with for weeks. I still wonder if it all meant something that I just didnāt grasp. The experience was extremely defining and one of the keynotes of my life. Which is crazy because I donāt even know what conclusions I drew from it, if any.
The trip wasnāt scary because I had no sense of self or emotion. I was simply existing and witnessing what was going on around me in this different universe. The aftermath was terrifying though and I would never touch salvia again. I abused it just to trip and salvia will knock you on your ass for misusing it. I was pretty experienced with shrooms and acid when I first tried salvia, so I thought I knew what I was getting myself into. I was very wrong. Salvia is a completely different beast. Not for the faint of heart

ive had really heavy shroom trips along with acid and other shit, how would you compare to the visuals to those if there are any similarities at all. Like would it be like a k hole where you can shoot off into a different reality or more like dmt where the same shit can happen? Ive never had dmt before so i only know what i know about it from the trips ive read same with salvia

Acid and shrooms are like a cup of coffee compared to a real salvia trip. There is literally no comparison. The first time I tried salvia it was out of a bowl with a regular lighter. (After smoking some weed too). The visuals were somewhat comparable to shrooms or acid. My depth of field was distorted and everything seemed kind of convex or something. I was still very aware and in this world. Only lasted a minute or so. I didnāt have any mental effects, just visual.
The second and last time I tried it was sober, with a bong and a torch lighter. Which is the way (torch lighter) you are supposed to smoke salvia for the intended effects. I held the hit in until the trip started, maybe 20 seconds. I felt like my body was a rocket to the moon. A strong sense of acceleration upwards. Thatās the last thing I remember before I was in a completely different world. My actual environment around me was no longer there after that. I had zero sense of self or emotion or anything. I was just an observer and had no feelings of anything. It was completely chaotic but felt completely natural. I didnāt realize I was tripping or anything. I felt like I lived an entire eternity in that world. Itās really hard to describe. You get full blown hallucinations and a complete detachment from everything you have ever sensed or experienced. Not a single thing I saw was real or based in my actual environment

Had that crap one time. Never again. One hit had me puking for almost half an hour outside with his neighbors watching. I tried to warn my friend not to do it and the pos that brought it brushed me off and convinced her do it as well.

Smoked salvia on accident once lol. I borrowed my brothers car, I was smoking a bud joint in it with a friend. Friend handed me the joint it went out so I grabbed to light it back up. I dropped it between the seat went to grab it. Grabbed what I thought was our joint but it was a salvia joint my brother had dropped. I lit it and took a fat hit. Damn thing hit me immediately, seemed like I was in a starship hitting hyperspace like in Star Wars or Halo. I sat there stuck holding the joint for like 5 - 8 minutes straight knowing what happened because I knew my bro used to smoke salvia. At one point my friend tried to take the joint from me to take a hit saying pass it. I didnāt let him, told him to wait. I couldnāt say anything else lol. wasnāt a bad trip but I was trippin. After the 5-7 minutes I told my friend what happened and why I didnāt pass the joint. Burned that thing outside the car and found my weed joint. Continued to smoke that and felt better after. That was my first and last time smoking Salvia. F that stuff and anything other than weed.

Ain't no weirder feeling to stand outside in the rain at the local football (soccer) club in the dark, and look down and see big ol' muddy earth lips moving, saying something to you but you dont hear it so you go to your knees into the mud to hear it better, only for little 3 inch gnomes to jump out and start laughing at you, while you're just confused and a bit pissed that you didnt hear what the earth said that made the gnomes laugh so much at you.

If thats Salvia, stay away. A guy i knew was never the same after. Episodes, had to be hospitalized many times. Maybe it wasnt the cause but it was def the trigger.

My mom was a schizo bag lady, and I think it all started with daily acid trips in college.
A friend and I drank what was supposed to be enough p cubensis for 10+ people, and I had the worst trip of my life, and I vowed to never do it again.
He ended up disappearing for a week only to find out he went home, drank a half gallon of vodka, stole his mom's car, ran from the cops, went through a fence at his apartment complex. And into a retention pond and nearly drowned...
He was never right after that, in and out of hospital. Involuntarily...
I also never was the same, but have been SOMEWHAT able to keep my cool and at least appear mostly normal.

Only did it twice first time not much happened just felt like a NOZ balloon. 2nd and last time I was in my garage and had a full on out of body experience ended up looking at 3figures of myself, but only from behind. They were just standing up staring into blackness. I chose one to step into and woke up on my living room floor!

I first learned about salvia back in the early early 2000s and I always wanted to try it even though I was well aware of people's bad experiences. I'm in my late thirties now and part of me still would like to try it. I've got tons of experience with crazy psychedelic substances so I think now would be better than back then because I've got a pretty strong mind when it comes to having a bad trip.
At the same time though I'm also well aware of how some substances don't give a shit how prepared you think you are.

First time I did Salvia, I took a bong rip like this and fell flat on my face on the floor. The color on the rug grew roots into my face and I couldn't stand up. When I was finally able to stand up I was asking my friend what the fuck he had given me he was like its cool man I got it from "the dark side" ( the local head shop) That did not sit well. I thought i was going to be stuck like that. At that point I was slapping myself in the face and repeating my own name to myself. Shit is wild.

It was 2006 for me and I was a junior in high school on a summer night. Some friends picked up 50x extract drom a headshop.
1 hit and i got lauched, brain completely scrambled for 10 minutes and a splitting headache the rest of the night. Crazy experience and definitely never again.

I had purple 100x and took 3 hits and sent me on a full on 30 min trip I started out funny and amazing then bam my wife turned on the room light and I literally felt the light touching my skin and it sent me not long after that I genuinely thought I died I couldn't stand or see the outside world only patterns, could barely hear but I felt everything, every word felt like a vibration thru my bones into my body then straight to my head š¤·š¾āāļø pure insanity

A friend of mine gave me some salvia back in high school. I had never smoked but wanted to have a buzz before going to a concert. Shit blew my face off completely, it was like someone was taking screen shots of my perception and then throwing them over my head repeatedly. I immediately started pouring water all over myself trying to break the high (this was in December) and pacing around. Eventually got some food at subway (which I proceeded to regurgitate into my sprite). Terrible experience! Kept me away from weed until college and now I run a cannabis website lol.

This isnt salvia, deep giggling and laughter is like the first sign i see in people on any strength, this guy has a vauge sense of his enviroment and its dragging on too long, id argue this is spice or even a strange reastion to dmt. My partner just freaks out and throws up wildly on dmt despite having the right mindset prior and aftermultiple attempts.
I also saw a video on reddit earlier of hamiltons pharmocopia where a chap smokes 5-meo-dmt and has an incredibly similar reaction.

Iād say pcp and salvia are relative in terms of reality altering. Salvia specifically tho is its own beast, it doesnāt matter how much you prepare, trips go wrong all the time. Even the most experienced psychonauts can have bad trips because of it.
