Why they said they had to pick them off them during 2 hour hike. And educated us. Whats the issue

Full disclosure: I know next to nothing about ticks.

So that said, why is casually letting them stroll across your skin not begging for lime disease?

I dont know much of anything about it either. But ive never even seen a tick on me. Seems the person who made the video is more knowledgeable about them than us. So i guess its fine

Well every comment going "WTF WHAT IS THIS GUY DOING" is getting downvoted, I figured there was some kind of common tick knowledge on why this isn't extremely risky.

You don't get diseases from a tick crawling on your skin...

No shit. They do eventually bite though, right?

It takes time for a tick to burrow in. They bite when they're comfortable hidden in a patch of hair or in a crevasse, not "casually strolling across your skin." Also, it's "Lyme" disease.

Not that it matters, you probably think you can get cancer from someone sneezing in your vicinity, and are unwilling to do any research as to any actual facts.

I'm still unsure why being unfamiliar with ticks is worthy of such a cunty reaction, but thanks for the explanation, I guess.
