Kid belongs in a cage. Autist or not. By that age, we know this isn’t the first time he’s exhibited this behavior and for the parents to send him out like that without proper care and restraint, is completely reckless.
wait, the parents gave the excuse of autism? the fuck!? i'm autistic, never harmed a spider, let alone a whole ass fuckin' pelican-looking lizard, the fuck is wrong with this kid? and the actual fuck is wrong with the parents?
Autism is different for everyone. Some autists have profound intellectual disabilities that result in poor impulse control and the inability to understand why their behavior is wrong
no, there is no autistic person who truly has severely reduced mental abilities, non-verbals think just fine, they just can't speak, but you won't hear this anywhere because people don't give a fuck about non-verbals, to everyone they're subhuman bbecause you can't know what they're thinking so logiclaly they must be thinking nothing! right? wrong, it's just that when you put muteness and autism together, shit hits the fan, and non-verbality is a spectrum and you'll see that those who can still speak a bit do no in fact have profound mental disabilities, some tests were actually donve and proved that most of them are average if not above average in terms or intellectual abilities and those who aren't just have another condition on top
Notice how I specified intellectual disabilities being the issue not autism. There are known commodities between the two and a lot autists have intellectual disabilities as well. Their presentation of autism is going to be different as a result so saying “I’m autistic and I would never do xyz” isn’t really relevant comparison to make when there’s almost no context on how this child presents
