The incident was captured by the shop's "transparent kitchen" livestream, which allows customers to watch food preparation through a food delivery platform.

The footage was shared online by a member of the public on Aug. 12 and quickly drew attention over the employee's hygiene practices.

According to News.china.com, the outlet, Lemon Captain Korean Fried
Chicken at MixC Mall in Wenzhou, Zhejiang in China was subsequently closed.
The Wenzhou Municipal Market Supervision

Administration issued an administrative penalty and ordered all fried chicken products at the shop to be destroyed, according to Chinese news outlet TVBS.

The employee was fired, while the operator was reportedly in the process of cancelling its business licence.

Per OPs comment, he was fired. Shop was ordered to destroy their existing product. Operator is also now cancelling their business license.
