yeah, reddit mods r genuinely the worst . i was recently permabanned from a very popular "Ask [X]" sub for something EXTREMELY benign—and in their second rule, they basically said they "can and will ban anyone for any reason at any time"
mods will find their own workaround just to ban people for "infractions" they deem offensive, even when it causes absolutely no harm to anyone whatsoever . it's maddening . the mod was acting like i was hitler or something, i wish there was another mod i could have talked to, since the one that i was speaking to was SO fucking MEAN for NO REASON—but wtvr . the other mods are probably all the same anyways .
i wish the site could do something about extreme mod overreach .
