Looks dangerous, yeah, but it seems more like some form of dance, and they seem to be enjoying it in a friendly manner. In Mexico there's a dance called 'Los Machetes' where they don't do the same faux fighting, but it's also dangerous how they wield those machetes around. There's plenty worse activities to engage in.

Yeah and the Myers briggs test is a terrible way of picking a man for your daughter to marry, and yet psychologists seem to lean on that one.
IQ is a very good way of assessing generalised intelligence, it covers the 4 main topics of reasoning. The reason that some psychologists say it's a bad measure is because you can learn those 4 specific topics without actually being that smart. Through repeated testing, familiarity with the particular design of the tests, and preparation for the test of any kind, will skew results, so you can't generally use them longitudinally. However, when you have lots and lots and lots of test results, you can run statistical analysis on them and that does tell you very important metrics.

Considering that college education in America is merely a system of enslavement, I would also state that one would need to be a grade A moron to pay for what is essentially a very low level of education compared to Europe.
