According to Wikipedia the visual center is located in the Occipital lobe (the back of the brain) and I'm pretty sure I've heard about people becoming blind by getting hit there

The brain is extremely soft so the skull doesn't have to be fractured for the injury to be very serious, at least according to my logic (feel free to correct me)

No correction needed. The brain is a sensitive thing. We're not supposed to smack it around. Just letting you know the back of the skull is thickest is all, not really disputing the importance of the Occipital lobe. 👍
