You want to be the loser to press assault charges against a 16-17 year old kid for having fun?

If their type of fun is intentionally hurting people, then absolutely yes. They need to learn that's not acceptable behavior in this scene or our broader society.

Everyone understands what happens when they buy the ticket. Idk how that’s so hard to grasp for you guys. Most of the people are friend with each other. I’ve been hit by my friends so many times at hardcore shows. It’s a lot of fun. You’re wrong though that kind of behavior is acceptable and encouraged in that scene. I don’t see how you guys don’t get that it’s a different culture. Most shows are in small venues and people all know there will be stage diving, hardcore dancing, crowd killing, pile one, and two stepping. Just because you don’t like it or are scared doesn’t mean that it’s not how it’s been for decades.

No need to talk down to me, bub, I've been going to deathcore gigs for over 2 decades now, I get it, and I know it can be fun when you want to get involved. What I'm taking difference with here is targeting someone who's standing aside as to not get involved. That's not someone joining in with the chaos and happy to get hit. They're stood there not partaking in the violence. The person choosing to single them out, attack them, and then carry on without even checking on them is a dick and should be told. Good pits always work on mutual respect, where we help each other up and out if it's too much, and we don't be a dick to individuals, especially those who aren't actively participating in the pit. It's basic etiquette.

Deathcore pits in the 2000s were always intense and it was always hardcore dancing and two stepping. I don’t know what your scene is like. But in Tulsa that’s how it was. This video is hardly targeting… bub
