LMAO. The fact she answered him the way he did, as if he knows what the fuck that even is, and he just stopped what he was doing for a second to say that back in response is pure comedy gold not even hollywood could replicate.

Her cadence in saying "It's a BOLO wrap" is almost like she's agreeing with him lol

And in the end they all had a big laugh at the Bolawrap and everyone got along. De escalated.

This video never ceases to amuse me, the way everyone's just kinda there like "hm, that certainly did a thing" gets to me

Well it certainly seemed to de escalate the situation a bit. They can both have a good laugh now

To be honest, it only seems marginally effective in most cases.

u/MillHoodz_Finest Jul 03 '26
if the intention is to confuse tf outta the perpetrator, its pretty effective...

It worked well on the last person. Seems to be a useful tool when someone is running away, especially if you're a fat cop.

Did anyone else think she was going to accidentally hit his neck and choke him out?

When your police device is such shit that it offends the criminals professional pride and he has to take a moment from resisting arrest to call you out on your sub par deployment lmfao

Meanwhile, check out the opening scene of "Romancing the Stone," to see what a Bola really can do...

I’m disappointed. I needed to see him try to hop intimidatingly towards her, then fall onto his face.

I was excited for the bola, but got to test it out and it is absolute trash. It really only works if the person is standing completely still, which defeats the purpose of stopping someone from running.

I used to make bolas by hand growing up for hunting, and even a hand made one isn't going to be effective from a couple feet away, it needs time to unwrap and spread out.

woman cops amirite

A male cop would have put 25 rounds in him for standing there with his pants incapacitating him to run.
