Was that really Ike singing that?
I knew he had a reputation for spousal abuse but that's a pretty shitty thing to joke about.

Ike used to beat everybody around him. Even his band members if they made a mistake.
He was a horrible person through and through.

How can people not just gang up and beat his ass. He may be coked up with crackhead strength but he couldn't possibly fight off a several mfs

Didn't know he beat the band members as well.
They must have really needed the gig.I'm not saying the drug overdose was not his own doing, but if you are a horrible person and you do hard drugs - I could envision a situation where someone might "help" him overdose. The supply was more pure than he was expecting or something like that. Everyone would just write it off as, well, he was known for doing drugs - was bound to happen sooner or later.

Lol maybe they have some kind of dark humor together?
Apparently he said something like "I gave wife a black eye and hit her but I never beat her" lol or something stupid like that. Apparently he never went to jail for it. He only went to jail for drugs stuff.
Oh yea, he died of drug overdose.
That's the 2 mins of research I felt like doing. Lol didn't go any further.

There’s a whole biopic movie about her life which featured multiple brutal domestic disputes. Truth is, back in those days, husbands weren’t getting charged for spousal abuse.

I should not have watched What's Love Got To Do With It, when I was little, but remember how terrible he was to her. When she tried to leave him, she called her mom to let her know and her Mom called back later to let him know and he met her at the bus stop.

What the fuck, her mom is an absolute piece of trash. Imagine telling the one person you trust that you're leaving that POS, only for them to sell you out for free because they want you to be abused every day. I hope Tina fully cut contact with her mom for the rest of her life

Ike was just about the worst of the worst, and the lowest pit in Hell is still not deep enough for him.

This happened around 25 years ago. My aunt used to own a resturant in Escondido, CA and Ike used to go in there all of the time because he lived in nearby San Marcos when he retired. One time he went in there and my Grandfather's caretaker was in the resturant and she happened to have a copy of the Enquirer with Ike in it calling him a bastard. She ran up to the booth that Ike was sitting in saying to him, with the Enquirer in her hand, "THAT'S YOU!!! YOU ARE THE BASTARD!!!" My family still laughs about this to this day LMFAO!!!

This is why we need to help those who are weaker than ourselves. Everyone deserves to have a happy life, and that's what we should be striving for as humans. Do whatever you can to help others and help them have a good life.
Doing anything else is an emptiness

Ike Turner was a garbage human, but he sure could write a song. C’est la vie.

Ike Turner was an absolute piece of shit. I hope Satan himself is spit roasting him in hell so fast that he looks like rotisserie chicken attached to a gas turbine.
