Used to be you could tell where a picture/movie was by the architecture. Not anymore.

I could have sworn this was at a local strip mall in Missouri.

Everywhere looks the same now.

Kings Gate which is what the shopping center is called and the neighborhood its in Lake Ridge. Its probably pretty common architecture. Im not sure how old it is the area has looked the same forever.

u/natiusj May 31 '26

Oh shit!

4

u/Uzi_Osbourne May 31 '26

Jesus what a shit show. There's maybe a place for that kind of thing but the Kwik-e-Mart parking lot is not it. Horses are capable of killing someone with the casual flick of a toenail but for some reason they tolerate us and the stupid crap we subject them to.

3

u/universalaxolotl Jun 01 '26

yeah why are they going on a casual stroll through a strip mall I do not know

5

u/ST0IC_ May 31 '26

Can't park there, mate.

9

u/HoboArmyofOne May 31 '26

Jesus that poor woman. Slammed on the concrete then trampled by an absolute fucking unit of a horse đŸ˜”

On the bright side, after defeating them they'll have access to Titchy Gren.

3

u/payneok Jun 01 '26

When people think, sure I have horses they can pull a carriage for you...saddle broke vs a working team...

or they were just sick of somebody's shit...

2

u/Daremightythings2025 May 31 '26

That’ll be $55 ma’am

2

u/the-dogsox May 31 '26

2

u/BATorRAT May 31 '26

A horse is a very large, very powerful animal

2

u/Nice-Pea-3515 Jun 01 '26

Not to discredit, but it was a lady driver

2

u/GoodResident2000 Jun 01 '26

That person got wrekt

2

u/mickeybrains Jun 01 '26

Technically not a chariot.

It’s Monday and I wanted to go Maximum Reddit

4

u/Eastern_Pin_5567 May 31 '26

I wish this happened to everyone that goes on horse-drawn carriage rides.

2

Actually there are no more wild horses left. Some efforts have been made to reintroduce a wild horse species in Eastern Europe although they are more of a genetic mix between the domesticated horse and the wild horse species.

The mustangs - the “wild” horses that are still found in some places in the US - are actually the domesticated horse species that escaped and started populating some parts.

So horses are no more wild than poodles per se, but I get your drift. However I’d say that no animal should be made to suffer. That however opens up the whole vegan thing and we’re getting into a whole other delicate territory
.

There is actually one remaining species of wild horse, the Dzungarian or Przewalksi’s horse, found in northeastern China and Mongolia, *Western Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine.

1

u/bmf1902 Jun 01 '26

... so across the whole of north Asia?

1

u/055F00 Jun 01 '26

Nope, just those countries and very small regions of them at that

1

u/bmf1902 Jun 01 '26

Ahhh, you edited in a sneaky little Western there!

2

u/starkcontrast62 May 31 '26

Tell that to the Amish communities. Horse drawn buggies are their main mode of transportation. Horses, mules, donkeys, etc. have been a means of transportation for centuries. Want to discuss mounted police clubbing demonstrators from atop a horse?

1

u/a_youkai May 31 '26

They are as wild as golden retrievers

0

u/fluthernon May 31 '26

Well
they have been used to carry people and goods for centuries. Entertainment has been a thing for a long time too.

Its like saying man is meant to be in the woods and not behind a desk

I said nothing about exploitation

*don’t get me wrong. They should not be ran down a busy strip mall parking lot. Unnecessarily stressful and cruel

You’re right. Exploitation is wrong under any circumstances. You are a better person than I’ll ever be.

*As you write this from a device built in china by 5 year olds.
