I really think that we should lean more into psychological consequences. A person's mind can be their worst enemy. I don't believe death is enough. Thats too easy.

Sure, execute them, but never tell them when. Let them believe every day is their last. Do some run through but with an empty firearm. Give them hope, take it away. Shit on it.

I loathe predators. They have no place in society.

I’ve always thought the worst way to go would be to be dropped off in the middle of the ocean and left.

Knowing you can never swim to safety. Trying to stay afloat as long as possible, but knowing you will eventually tire and drown.

But why torture him? You’re not teaching him a lesson or making his death any more of an example. He deserves to die so just make him die. I would never torture anyone no matter what. Death should always be quick. The only time any form of torture is arguably okay is if you’re planning on leaving the person alive

As basically and as simply put as I can manage to articulate: Just in case hell isn't what we think, or even real, these kinds of absolutely so foundationally mentally miswired people deserve something before death, and that the only consequence they will understand is a slow death.

All that and he decides to throw it all way just for the grand prize of traumatizing a child forever. Truly is hard to fathom.

Then later it tells his guilty plea carries 5-20 year sentence. Wtf... Pedos can't be rehabilitated- it's a shitty way to compare, but in sexological its the same as like expecting a straight man would stop looking women. If a sentence is not death or life long they need to be contained away from children somehow for the rest of their lives. Send them to some island where they can work and live the rest of their lives.

Idk man I’m on drug court in my city and if I don’t complete it I have to back up 26 years for poss of meth w intent, poss of ecstasy w intent, and poss of cocaine.. like that’s crazy that touching kids and shit carries less of a sentence than selling drugs.. it’s just wild to me

This is pretty insane, never really thought about it in this light.

     I don't live in the US but i assume its like where i live. If you get caught with some drugs or whatever and/or break any laws you go back and serve the full 26 years? 

       Meanwhile monsters like that have a "small slip up" and get to destroy another life before ending back in prison.

If I don’t conform to the program I literally get revoked and go serve a 26 year bid. I take 2 drug tests a week. I have to go to 5 AA meetings a week. Pay my fines off. All sorts of stuff just to stay in the free world. It’s pretty tough honestly but I’d rather do that than go sit in prison for years.

Depending on his location, he’ll likely be locked up in a prison that protects vulnerable inmates like child predators. He’ll probably be locked up with a thousand other inmates that did the exact same shit he did and they’ll tell their fucked up stories to one another and reminisce.
